Vintage Large 18ct Australian Sapphire & Diamond Cluster Ring

Description

Vintage 1970’s ring set with an cushion cut Australian sapphire showing typical flashes of green in the blue of the sapphire. The weight of the sapphire is 7.29cts, known as we have had it beautifully repolished to bring it back to its original glory.   Surrounded by twelve brilliant cut diamonds with a total diamond content estimated as 1.50cts.  Colour estimated as I/J.  Clarity estimated as VS-SI.  The cluster measures 20mm x 18.5mm.  Mounted in 18ct gold with white gold claw settings to the sapphire which have had a complete retip and white gold settings to the diamonds.  Stamped 18CT inside the shank, which has a pretty fan design to the shoulders. shoulders.  Finger size S.  Gross weight 9.3g.
