Vintage Continental 8ct Gold Amethyst Pendant

Description

Large vintage pendant set with an oval cut amethyst measuring an estimated 18mm x 4mm.  The mount is 8ct yellow gold with floral design and four claw setting.  Measuring 31mm x 22mm (40mm including the bail).  Stamped 333 8ct gold, so possibly German.  Weight 5.9g.  Suspended from a modern 18″ 9ct yellow gold trace chain, weight 1.4g.
