Victorian Wide Silver Gilt Bangle

Beautiful silver gilt Victorian Circa 1880 cuff bangle.  Measuring 36mm wide this oval bangle is hinged on the side.  The bangle has a zig zag edging all the way round.  The back is plain and the front has an ornate applied decoration either side (a small section is missing).  Measuring 57mm x 48mm internally.  The bangle has been made by Vaughton & Sons and features their patented multi push in tongue clasp which provides extra security.  Weight 43.2g.  In good condition despite the missing decoration.
