Large Vintage 18ct Opal, Emerald, Chrysophrase & Diamond Earrings

Description

Wow, where to start when describing these Vintage beauties.  Firstly each earring is set with a pear cut opal measuring 20mm x 13mm and weighing a staggering 7cts approximately.  14cts in total approximately.  The opals have great play of colour especially the flashes of green.  Surrounded by eight green gems, a mixture of emeralds and chrysophrase.  A Royal blue enamel swirl section enhances the green.  A two diamond section at the bottoms.  Suspended from a brilliant cut diamond measuring 4.2mm in diameter.  The total diamond content in pair is estimated as 0.60ct.  Overall the earrings measure 40mm x 27mm.  Mounted in 18ct yellow gold with post and butterfly fittings.  Gross weight of pair 16.3g.
