1950’s Retro 18ct Amethyst & Diamond Ring

Description

Fine colour emerald cut amethyst measuring 13mm x 10mm, newly polished, set horizontally with two transitional cut diamonds on each shoulder, each weighing an estimated 0.07ct.  Total diamond content estimated as 0.28ct.  Colour estimated as H.  Clarity estimated as VS/SI1.  The ring has retro design gallery and shoulders and is a super example of its time.  Gross weight 6.4g.  Finger size M.  Mounted in 18ct yellow gold with white gold settings and design, the four claws to the amethyst have been retipped by us.
